Project Description:

This campaign, a project between Beit Rahma and Sanad Relief, aims to help families in Beirut, Tripoli, and other Lebanese cities by clearing grocery store debts, alleviating financial burdens and providing essential needs.

  • Location: Beirut, Tripoli, Akkar, Sidon, and Bekaa (Lebanon)

Budget & Type of Aid

  • Total Project Buget: The fundraising target was $20,000 to support 200 families, Sanad Relief fundraised $8,690
  • To close debts for needy families to support their basic needs: grocery shopping ,rent, and prescription medication.
  • If we meet our goal of 20,000, we will be able to provide support to 200 families this year to pay their debt at grocery stores once. All of the families are verified cases as per our partners on the ground (Sandouk Al zakat in Lebanon).

Impact

  • The campaign offered help for 4 families in need, intending to support 200 families through debt closure at grocery stores. Each family identified as a verified case will receive assistance to alleviate their financial strain
